  • ECKERSLEY (Capt. P.P.) RADIO SERVICE FOR THE DEALER
[iv] + 64pp. Gilt decorated buckram binder, 26.5 x 20cms. Illustrated with line drawings, text-figs and tables. This is a rare item, only the second copy we have ever seen in over 30 years of specialising in this subject. It is completely different from the folder of service booklets issued by Marconiphone under Eckersley's name in the mid-30s. This item consists of a series of articles "intended to help dealers with the problems they are likely to meet in connection with service, both before and after sale." There are sections on Demonstrations (at the Dealer's Premises and at the Customer's House); Installation; Service Methods And Organisation; Equipment; Examination And Testing Of Valves And Components; and Captain Eckersley's Article on "the examination of receivers - or, more accurately, installations as a whole."
