Kelly Books and Magazines specialises in the literature of Broadcasting and Mass Media.
The majority of our book stock is second hand, mainly relating to Radio and Television.
All our magazines are original back issues.
The majority of the stock consists of Radio Times, many of which are unused copies.
The business was originally established in 1968 by my late husband, Len Kelly, as Bampton Books at Bampton in Devon.
The name still suited when Len moved to Bampton Street, Tiverton, Devon. A further move meant a name change, to L.V.Kelly Books and then, when I joined (in 1999), it became Kelly Books and then Kelly Books Ltd. He continued with the books; I ran the magazines. And together, we launched the publishing arm of the business: Kelly Publications.
In 2008, Len published his bookselling memoirs: Books and Me – to commemorate 40 years. He died in 2009, and I took over.
In 2012, I switched to sole trader as Kelly Books and Magazines.
